British humour takes the stage at BRIT UNDER FEST

Barcelona doesn’t just open its doors to music, literature, or design. The first edition of BRIT UNDER FEST welcomes comedy as part of its programme, alongside The Comedy Clubhouse, one of the city’s leading English-language stand-up venues. The festival features a line-up combining international talent and emerging voices, promising unique and creative moments of humour.

Highlights include Alec Snook, whose absurd humour and unpredictable stories have conquered stages across the UK and Europe; Esther, finalist for LGTBQ+ New Comedian of the Year 2025 and awarded at the Barcelona Comedy Awards 2023 for her sharp and intelligent style; Ewan May, known for her mix of alternative comedy, clown, and stand-up, turning every performance into an unpredictable show; and James Regal, whose sharp observation and touch of absurdity place him among the most relevant voices in the local and international scene.

BRIT UNDER FEST sees comedy as both an art and a discipline, which is why it is given a prominent place in the festival, showcasing artists who combine talent, creativity, and technique to offer unique performances that truly connect with audiences.
