James Regal (The Comedy Clubhouse)

A British comic based in Barcelona, known for his witty, observational humour with a touch of the absurd. Since 2019, he has become one of the leading voices in the city’s English-language comedy scene, regularly supporting Michelle Wolf and producing his podcast Thoughtbox in 2025.

He won the Best Jewish Joke of the Edinburgh Fringe and presented his first work in progress, People Pleaser, in 2025. He also runs LOLyamorous and Roast Battle Barcelona, competing internationally and performing at venues like the Comedy Store in Los Angeles and the RBL World Championships in Austin.

James will close two days of British comedy at the festival on Saturday 16 May.
